OVERVIEW
Faced with the one-time impact of 160,000 festival gifts, MIT reconsidered both material and use. The uncoloured, unprinted sugarcane-fibre box could return as food storage, a desk organiser or a planter. Product design and communication turned seasonal gifting into a practical invitation to reuse.
